Linda Pichler

Managing Director of Hemera International GmbH

20140926 130200

In the past 10 years communication with Chinese partners has been part of Linda Pichler’s daily routine, either via Skype and email or on site in China. In 2003 Linda was invited to lecture in Webster University’s joint MBA programs in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu in China. Linda taught her professional expertise and passion – Global Business Strategies and Policies. These teaching assignments in China have led to a deep appreciation for and understanding of the people of this fast growing nation and an enthusiasm for the fast pace and high energy life style in the metropolis cities of China.

A passion for what she does and inspiring others have always guided Linda’ s thoughts and actions since her college days in Vienna, where she started her international career.

After holding various positions in international tourism, from Spain to Latin America and the Arab countries, she moved on to the financial services industry where she was responsible for setting up a branch network in southern Europe.

After her Executive MBA in 1999 she founded her own consulting business in Vienna where she helped Austrian companies in their international expansion projects. At the same time she started facilitating lectures as an adjunct professor at Webster University in Vienna and from there she went to China.

In 2011 Linda Pichler became managing director of Hemera International GmbH in Munich. Her projects and industries range from renewable energies to health care, from electronics to machine tools and automotive. From those 10 years of China experience she has gained insight into the way business ticks in China, which she now offers to European companies who consider or are already involved in business activities in China. Linda also facilitates seminars and trainings on specific China-related topics such as communication, negotiation, planning of business trips to China, etc. and is often invited to speak about differences between China and Europe.
